Confirmed on b3bdcc6. Sorry, something went wrong. Last time I looked at this quest was yesterday as for point 4 in the original post can confirm this is resolved and regthar deathgate says text when the defenders are killed.

Comment by Thottbot its probably obviouse to all but me, but in order to get Krom'Zar to spawn you need to go back ond talk to the guy who gave you the quest. A little bubble will apear saying Krom'Zar whereabouts. CLick on that and the quest giver says I hear them coming to the west. Go outside and there are tons of centours to fight, you will have help from other Horde NPC's.
