When you receive your materials, carefully compare the contents to the checklist. Returning your BARBRI hard copy materials is optional; however, you must return them to receive any material deposit refund that you paid at the time of enrollment if applicable. Your box of hard copy materials will include a checklist and material return order form that you will use to determine which materials need to be returned.
Materials can be returned in any condition, along with the completed Material Return Form, all in one package. If state-specific content is tested on your bar exam, it is covered in your course. Yes, you will be able to submit substantive questions during your course through your Personal Study Plan. With the BARBRI Guarantee, if you take a BARBRI Bar Review course for the first time for a particular state and you do not pass or sit for that state's bar exam, you may retake the same course online once for the same state the next time the course is offered without paying additional tuition.
The system will identify you as a Guarantee student. If the BARBRI option you originally selected during enrollment includes hard copy materials, the following options are available for Guarantee students of those courses:. I'm assuming that I can and they are just trying to prevent them from being resold but wanted to make sure. I've been searching a bit for answers but haven't found much information that seems fully trustworthy. But you are not supposed to resell them presuming they haven't changed that policy since I took it, but there's no reason to think they would. Is the idea that you are just renting them or licensing them somehow? I would have thought if you were purchasing the books it would be just like any other book that you can resell.
You paid the price for their copyrighted material and now you can do with it what you'd like. I thought they paid the buyback fee because they WANT the books back not because you couldn't sell them. I thought I had purchased the books -- I don't remember it being called a deposit, but maybe it was.
